Drop Off / Pick Up
BUS LOADING: Students riding the school bus will be loading in the bus loading zone off of Isaacs Avenue. The only exception to this rule is for students in District Special Programs who will load/unload off of Green Lane.
PARENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP: Parents will have the opportunity to pick up and drop off students at the front of Green Park School on Green Lane. The curb side access should make it easy for students to load and unload.
When you arrive for pickup or drop off, please pull forward as far as possible toward the gym doors and stay in your vehicle. Make sure your car does not block traffic on Clinton or to the parking lot. You may need to circle the block. Think about arriving for pick up 3-5 minutes after student release time to stagger traffic.
Do not pass other cars and park in front of the line unless a staff member directs you to do so. We thank you for your assistance keeping students and staff safe.
Please do not park on Green Lane and walk across or use the alley for drop off or pick up. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. We encourage all adults and students to use the cross walks and our patrols when crossing the street.
BICYCLE SAFETY: Each bicycle ridden to school must be locked in the bicycle rack when left at school during the day. Children may NOT ride bicycles on school grounds during school hours. In addition, we hope that you, as parents, will frequently reinforce the proper safety habits that all bicycle riders must observe. Green Park and Walla Walla School District are not responsible for damaged or stolen bikes. Please lock your bike.
OFFICE CHECK IN: For student and staff safety, all exterior doors at Green Park are locked except during times of active supervision. Students arriving late and parents needing to access office services must ring the doorbell for assistance. Students arriving late must enter the office for a pass to class.
All other visitors must remain outside unless instructed otherwise. Any person admitted to the building will be subject to a COVID-19 screening and their name will be registered on the Visitors Log. Every person must wear a mask covering the nose and mouth at all times.
